| I put off this one for a while as I didn't know how I'd rewrite it to make sense. Hopefully now the timing is a bit better as the comic was expanded to three panels instead of the original two and there's more information written and visually.
More experimentation this time with the process of making a comic. Instead of making a layout beforehand, I drew panels taking up almost a full sheet of paper and then put them together later. It let me draw in details more easily, but I'm not sure if this method is faster for me or not. This may be the end of the new versions of the old Inky and the Brain comics. Number four is probably impossible to rewrite to make sense for everyone. Beyond that, the art is acceptable enough to leave alone (though I have yet to fix the grammatical error in number sixseven).

| Today I am finally getting around to posting something that has been sitting around for a year or so. You may have noticed already that I am fascinated by the Eastern Zodiac, and actually had a project from years ago that was supposed to represent the characteristics of each animal through a person. But that just... stopped at some point. This was one half of the attempt at reviving the project. As you can see, it's the animal half. I actually had more than half of the human part done, but I realized a little late that the scale of the people may be a little too big to fit on their wedge. So now I don't know whether to finish it off with the calligraphy or... something. Also: Thumbnails are back! So you can see a preview before you click to see the image bigger instead of text links.

| Vector of one of my favorite panels from the Yotsuba&! manga. I quite like it. | | |
| Third page of Obsession without the dialog. Yes, I said I wasn't going to continue it and I am sticking to that. It's just that when I was digging through my portfolio as I do occasionally, I found the uninked pencils of this page and I decided to finish it.
I ended up redoing the pencils completely in an attempt to do convincing linear perspective. May have been a failure. Hooray for continuity errors! Three pages and I can't keep track of details. That's what happens when you do stuff from memory. edit: The first panel was actually completed last, and by that time I ran out of energy and willpower, so I kind of just drew in some blocky areas and called it done. I just got to the point where I was sick of looking at this page.
On to the picture, which is what you want to see and not my silly rambling about my process: Click to see it.
